DAX at 2-Week Low

Frankfurt’s DAX 40 slipped 0.6% to around 25,230 on Friday, marking a two-week low and extending the previous session’s decline. Although the earnings season remains in focus for investors, sentiment stayed cautious amid rising oil prices driven by escalating tensions in the Middle East. In addition, worries over demonstrations planned for Saturday in France and Italy added pressure. Most sectors traded lower, with telecoms, software, and autos among the worst performers.
