Poland’s producer price index (PPI) showed a slight easing in deflationary pressures in February 2026, according to data updated on 19 March 2026. On a year-over-year basis, PPI stood at -2.3% in February, compared with -2.6% in January 2026.
The figures reflect changes in producer prices relative to the same month a year earlier, with the “previous” reading indicating the January 2026 comparison and the “actual” reading showing the February 2026 comparison period. While producer prices remain in negative territory, the smaller decline suggests that the downward pressure on industrial prices has moderated slightly heading into late winter.
