DAX Halts 5-Day Rally

The DAX 40 slipped 0.2% on Tuesday to trade just below 25,800, as investors took a breather following a five-session rally that had driven the index to fresh record highs. Technology stocks were back under pressure, led by semiconductor names, after Samsung Electronics’ record profit failed to meet market expectations. Infineon Technologies dropped 4.1%, while AI-related players Hochtief and Siemens lost 2.0% and 1.1%, respectively. Siemens Energy tumbled more than 6% after Barclays cut its rating on the AI equipment maker to “underweight” from “equal weight.”
