Indonesia’s consumer confidence index fell to 117.8 in June 2026 from 120.9 in May, reaching its lowest level since September 2025. The decline was primarily driven by weaker assessments of current economic conditions, which dropped 3.0 points to 109.2. Sentiment toward purchases of durable goods also weakened, falling 2.4 points to 105.9, while perceptions of job availability over the past six months decreased 3.2 points to 101.8.
On the outlook side, expectations for income over the next six months eased by 2.9 points to 133.6. Expectations for job availability also declined, down 3.7 points to 124.4, and expectations for business activity fell by 3.3 points to 121.2.
