Exports rose 13.5% year-on-year to NZD 7.39 billion in July 2026, easing from a downwardly revised 20.8% jump in June. The increase in export values was largely underpinned by stronger shipments of milk powder, butter, and cheese (up 6.4%); meat and edible offal (up 34.0%); aluminum and aluminum products (up 43.0%); and fruit (up 15.0%).
