Foreign tourist arrivals in Indonesia increased by 6.27% year-on-year to 1.60 million in August 2026, quickening from a 2.95% rise in July amid strong travel demand. Over the first eight months of the year, arrivals climbed 5.83% from the same period a year earlier to 10.58 million, the highest level for that period since 2020.
