Denmark’s seasonally adjusted trade surplus widened to DKK 32.8 billion in April 2026, up from a downwardly revised DKK 31.4 billion in March. Exports inched 0.4% higher month-over-month to DKK 188.9 billion, as a 3.3% increase in services exports more than offset a 1.5% decline in goods exports. On the import side, total inflows slipped 0.4% to DKK 156.1 billion, driven by a 1.7% fall in goods imports despite a 1.0% rise in services imports. Over the first four months of 2026, Denmark registered a cumulative trade surplus of DKK 114.9 billion, up from DKK 100.1 billion in the same period a year earlier.
