Croatia’s annual inflation rate accelerated to 4.7% in September 2026, up from 4.2% in August, according to a preliminary estimate. The increase was largely driven by energy prices, which jumped 20.5% amid supply disruptions linked to the conflict in the Middle East. Prices of food, beverages and tobacco inched up 0.2%, while service prices rose by 7.6%. In contrast, prices of non-energy industrial goods declined by 1.4%. On a monthly basis, consumer prices increased by 0.9%, following a 0.3% rise in the previous month.
