Slovenia’s seasonally adjusted manufacturing business tendency indicator remained at -8 in March 2026, unchanged from the previous month and holding at its lowest level since June 2025. Production expectations were stable at 5, in line with February’s reading. However, export order books weakened further, slipping to -27 from -26, while overall order books declined to -26 from -25. At the same time, current production eased to 2 from 3, inventories of finished products fell to 2 from 5, and selling price expectations softened to 10 from 13. In contrast, employment expectations improved, rising to 3 from -1.
