Finland’s Inflation Quickens to 1.3% in March, More Than Doubling February Pace

Finland’s consumer price inflation accelerated in March 2026, with the year-over-year Consumer Price Index (CPI) rising to 1.3%, up from 0.6% in February 2026. The figures, updated on 14 April 2026, show that price growth has more than doubled in pace compared with the previous month.

Both readings are measured against the same month a year earlier, meaning the March 1.3% print reflects how prices compare with March of the previous year, while February’s 0.6% figure was a comparison to February a year earlier. The latest data indicate that inflationary pressures, while still relatively moderate, are building after a period of subdued price growth.
