During yesterday’s trading, GBP/USD pair developed a 5-wave structure on the downward trend from August 6. At the same time, after reaching the lower limit of the ascendant channel, the price bounced quite dynamically from the level of 1.5500. It seems that in the result of these movements yesterday’s low can be either wave a of continuing correctional structure or wave 1 of new downward segment of the trend against the British currency. In case it is true, continuation of moving quotations upwards started yesterday to the levels of 1.5750 – 1.5800 can be expected, but only after the end of repeated testing try of the lower line of the increasing corridor, mentioned above.
