Trading Recommendations for the Cryptocurrency Market on September 1

Bitcoin and Ethereum continue to show resilience. Today, BTC has returned to the $79,000 region after a decent correction to around $77,000 at the end of last week. Ethereum remains around $2,500, maintaining the chances of a continued bullish market, albeit a short-term one.

As traders gradually consider new purchases, anticipating a bull market, today marks the beginning of the first mandatory phase of implementing the digital ruble in Russia, the third form of the national currency alongside cash and non-cash money. All 12 systemically important banks must provide customers with the ability to open digital wallets and conduct transactions through their usual mobile applications. The money is stored on the Bank of Russia's platform, and banks act only as intermediaries. The exchange rate remains firmly set at 1:1 to the regular ruble.

For citizens, a key principle remains that participation is voluntary; accounts will not be opened automatically, and salaries, pensions, and social payments will not be transferred to digital rubles without a person's consent. This tool is exclusively intended for payments and transfers; it's not possible to open a deposit, take a loan, or receive cashback in digital rubles, and no interest will be accrued on the balance.
