According to the official press release published on the website of Sanoma, a large media holding from Finland, the company decided to shut down its operations in Ukraine, including such magazines as Esquire and National Geographic. Web versions of the magazines will be posted until late 2014, and last print magazines will come out in January 2015. In Ukraine, apart from the aforesaid periodicals, Sanoma issues such magazines as Men's Health, Harper's Bazaar, Good Housekeeping (Domashniy Ochag) and Ukraine edition of Cosmopolitan. According to the Russian press, publishing right of the Ukrainian Cosmopolitan was given to the Russian partner of the holding - Hearst Shkulev Media company. The Russian media holding is going to publish the magazine in Ukraine from February 2015.
