Half of Britons back new Brexit vote

According to the poll published in the Mail on Sunday newspaper, 50% of people in Britain support new vote on the final terms of Britain’s exit deal.

People surveyed in the poll answered the question whether they would “support holding a referendum asking the public if they will accept or reject the deal”. Thus, 34% said they were against the idea of a public vote, while 16% said they did not know.

Most respondents said £50 billion is too much for the UK to pay out for the Brexit divorce bill.

Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair spoke in favor of cancelling the country's exit from the EU. According to him, the British government may not achieve its goals during the negotiations.
