Economic myths and legends of modern Greece

Even though the economy of Greece keeps struggling, the IMF analysts are observing positive dynamics and believe that the economic situation in the country is changing for the better. The annual IMF report highlights key challenges and acute recession fuelled by deep-rooted problems. But the experts of the international organization are sure not problems as such, but rather solutions to these problems matter now.
The IMF analysts lauded the government’s progress and the pro-active stand on tackling domestic troubles. The economy of the country is recovering.
Be it as it may, there are still demonstrations and protests roaring throughout Greece. The citizens of the country are still agonizing over the mess in the country. The economy is not the only realm to be afflicted today; the political situation leaves much to be desired as well. All the while, pledges to establish a new efficient government, support the EU provides, and close public scrutiny benefit the country much. However, the recent strike has proven the insufficiency of all these factors. May 1 was marked by protests of Greek union workers against harsh austerity. The protesters promote budget spending cuts, but what they want most of all is to stop tax hikes.
Despite the unrest in Greece, the specialists of the International Monetary Fund regard the counter-crisis policies as a way to solve the problems step by step.
