China-Germany dream team

New Prime Minister of China Li Keqiang paid an official visit to Germany under his first official trip to the EU countries. At the meeting in Berlin, Mr Li and Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel have conducted some momentous negotiations. A consequence of the first conference day was the ratification of 17 agreements. These documents ensure the Sino-German economic, political, and cultural contacts. Most of the contracts were signed between the leading companies of China and Germany. The total amount of the deals is estimated at €4-5 bln. For the first session these results are very impressive, especially considering the fact that at the world's largest industrial expo in Hanover, which was opened by Angela Merkel and Vladimir Putin, Germany did not sign any contract, although Russia was its main strategic partner.
Besides, the head of China's government highlighted that PRC is interested in harmonious relationships with the European Union. The Prime Minister also denoted creation of a free Sino-European trade zone as one of the prospects. Moreover, Li Keqiang announced that the relashionship between the two countries may exemplify perfect bilaterial collaboration.
