Top highest paychecks in banking services

Bloomberg released the rating of the 20 best-paid CEOs of North America's financial institutions. The main criterion was not the bankers' titles or scientific degrees, but their pays. That ranking shows the employers’ appreciation to the managers.
Lloyd Blankfein, the Chief Executive Officer of Goldman Sachs, was awarded $26 mln for his work last year that made him lead the pay list. The agency's analysts noted that Blankfein’s salary rose by 73% in comparison to the last year.
Wells Fargo's CEO John Stumpf ran second at $19.3 mln. Richard Fairback from Capital One Financial is also in the top 3 of the most overpaid leaders. Last year he earned $17.5 mln. However, despite the impressive fees, the experts registered a reduction in pay by 8.9% comparing to 2011.
The last year's pacesetter, Head of JP Morgan Chase Jamie Dimon this time is only number six. As a result of risky operations on the stock market that caused the bank a loss of more than $6 bln, his payment got halved. $4 mln per year of M&T Bank's Chief Robert Wilmers put him on the bottom of the top 20.
