There is a notion of beauty in the world of money as well, rather extraordinary though. Recently, the Swiss financiers have announced the results of an original beauty contest, the competitors of which were the bills of different countries. It is an open secret that the creation of a national banknote is very important, because it is the first thing the foreigners pay attention to. Thus, besides the up-to-date protection measures, the appearance of the national currency is one of the key factors. This year the Commission of Aesthetic to the International Finance Bank ranked the Ukrainian hryvnia as the most beautiful. This title has been awarded to the hryvnia for the second time. Moreover, it was considered as the most hard-wearing currency. The top 5 also includes the Australian dollar, euro, Bulgarian lev, and American dollar. Although, the Ukrainian currency is lagging behind its rivals on the world's market, it may gain a little for its beauty.
