Finland recorded a current account deficit of EUR 249 million in February 2026, compared with a surplus of EUR 576 million in the same month a year earlier. The goods balance moved to a deficit of EUR 263 million, after posting a surplus of EUR 628 million in February 2025. The services deficit widened slightly, to EUR 337 million from EUR 323 million. At the same time, the secondary income deficit narrowed to EUR 156 million from EUR 164 million, while the primary income surplus rose to EUR 506 million, up from EUR 435 million a year earlier.
