South Korea Consumer Sentiment Improves in June

South Korea’s Composite Consumer Sentiment Index edged up 0.5 point in June 2026 to 95.5 from the previous month. Assessments of current domestic economic conditions improved, rising three points to 86, while expectations for future economic conditions eased slightly, slipping one point to 92. Views on current living standards gained one point to 94, and expectations for future living standards held steady at 97. Projections for future household income and spending were also unchanged, at 100 and 110, respectively. The expected inflation rate for the coming year was 2.8%, with three-year and five-year inflation expectations at 2.7% and 2.6%, respectively.
