Japan Jobless Rate Holds Steady At 2.6%

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, Japan's unemployment rate remained steady at 2.6 percent in March, holding steady from its previous reading in February. The numbers failed to meet predictions of dropping to 2.5 percent.

Furthermore, the job-to-applicant ratio stood at 1.28, surpassing the forecast of 1.26, which would have been the same as that of the previous month. The participation rate remained consistent at 62.8 percent, confirming speculations and maintaining the rate from the prior month.
