Greece GDP Grows 0.8% in Q4

Greece’s economy grew by 0.8% quarter-on-quarter in Q4 2025, accelerating from an upwardly revised 0.7% increase in Q3 and marking the strongest quarterly performance since Q2 2024. The expansion was primarily supported by stronger household consumption (0.8% vs 0.4% in Q3) and robust growth in gross fixed capital formation (4.3% vs 3.9%), as well as a smaller contraction in government spending (-0.4% vs -0.8%). In contrast, net external demand dragged on overall growth, as a sharp rebound in imports (3.7% vs -1.5%) outpaced a more moderate increase in exports (1% vs 0.4%). On a year-on-year basis, GDP rose by 2.4% in Q4, up from an upwardly revised 2.1% in the previous quarter.
