The total credit extended to the Greek economy saw a 5.0% increase year-over-year, reaching €203.05 billion in November 2025, a slight deceleration from the 5.4% growth observed in October and marking the slowest rate of expansion since November 2024. Credit to the private sector grew by 7.2%, amounting to €126.45 billion, which is a slight drop from the 7.8% increase in October. Concurrently, loans to the general government experienced a 1.4% rise to €76.60 billion, marginally lower than the 1.5% growth reported the month before.
