Argentina Activity Growth Slows in October

In October 2025, Argentina's economic activity rose by 3.2% compared to a year earlier, marking a slowdown from the 4.8% growth recorded in September and slightly missing the projected 3.3% increase. Out of the various sectors, twelve showed growth, with the fishing sector surging by 91.4% and financial intermediation climbing by 22.8%, driven by heightened activity from brokers and securities firms. Conversely, the manufacturing sector saw a decline of 2.7%, along with decreases in public administration and defense, including social security by 0.8%, and the hotel and restaurant sector by 1.0%. On a seasonally adjusted basis, the economic activity experienced a contraction of 0.4% from the previous month.
