In November 2025, Bulgaria experienced a 2.9% increase in tourist arrivals compared to the same month the previous year, totaling 732.8 thousand visitors. This followed a modest growth of 0.4% in October. The data indicated a rise across all observed purposes of travel, with visits for various reasons leading at 49.4%. These were followed by trips for holiday and recreation at 31.1%, and professional visits at 19.5%. European Union visitors constituted 49.8% of the total influx, numbering 365.1 thousand. The leading contributors were Romania, at 43.4%, Greece at 25.4%, Germany at 7.60%, and Italy at 4.94%. Additionally, travelers from other European regions accounted for 42.4% of all visitors, amounting to 310.7 thousand, with the majority arriving from Turkey at 52.3%, followed by Serbia at 18.9%, Ukraine at 15%, and Macedonia at 9.6%.
