Angola’s annual inflation rate eased further to 13.35% in February 2026, the lowest level since July 2023, down from 14.56% in January, supported by the continued stability of the kwanza. Price growth slowed across several categories, most notably food and non-alcoholic beverages (13.55% vs. 14.89% in January), alcoholic beverages and tobacco (12.27% vs. 13.67%), clothing and footwear (11.61% vs. 13%), health (14.24% vs. 15.92%), and transportation (18.66% vs. 19.07%). On a monthly basis, consumer prices increased by 0.52%, following a 0.68% rise in the previous month.
