In December, the number of tourists visiting Cyprus saw an increase, with the majority hailing from the United Kingdom, according to recent data released by the statistical office, Cystat, on Friday.

Tourist arrivals for December experienced a 7.6% rise compared to the previous year, reaching a total of 133,063, as reported by Cystat.

For the entire year of 2024, tourist arrivals grew by 5.1%, totaling 4.04 million visitors. British tourists comprised 23.7% of these arrivals, followed closely by tourists from Israel at 17.4%. Additional significant sources of tourists to Cyprus included Poland, Greece, and Germany.
