Kosovo’s annual inflation rate increased to 6% in February 2026, up from 5.8% in January, marking the highest level since March 2023. The rise was driven mainly by higher prices in several categories: housing and utilities (15.7%, compared with 16.1% in January), restaurants and hotels (9.2% vs. 8.4%), food and non-alcoholic beverages (8% vs. 7.7%), and health (7.1% vs. 6.2%). On a monthly basis, consumer prices advanced 0.6% in February, following a 1.2% increase in the previous month.
