Poland 2025 GDP Growth Picks Up to 3.6%

Poland's gross domestic product (GDP) experienced a 3.6% increase in 2025, marking the most robust growth since 2022, and aligning with market expectations. This uptick is attributed to a broad-based strength across pivotal sectors. The gross value added (GVA) within the overall economy climbed by 3.0%, an improvement from the previous year's 2.1%. The industrial sector exhibited a significant recovery, with output rising by 3.0%, up from a mere 0.9% growth in 2024. Meanwhile, the construction sector rebounded to a growth trajectory, posting a 1.7% increase following a steep 5.8% decline the year prior. Trade and repair activities also saw notable enhancement, growing by 4.2% as compared to 2.5% in 2024. Domestic demand remained firm, witnessing a 4.0% year-on-year rise, which is slightly below the 4.5% increase recorded in 2024.
