Airbus, Avinor, SAS, Swedavia and Vattenfall have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding to explore the potential of establishing a hydrogen infrastructure at airports across Sweden and Norway. This feasibility study encompasses two nations and over 50 airports.

Abraham Foss, CEO of Avinor, expressed his satisfaction with the ongoing dialogue with Airbus regarding aviation decarbonization spanning several years. He was pleased to announce this partnership with their valued neighbors in Sweden. He believes that both Norway and Sweden are strategically positioned to pioneer the introduction of hydrogen-powered aircraft.
