FX.co ★ Granite Point Appoints Blake Johnson As CFO

Granite Point Mortgage Trust Inc. (GPMT) announced on Monday that Blake Johnson will assume the position of Chief Financial Officer, effective December 1, 2024. In the interim, Johnson will join the company as Deputy CFO by October 28, 2024.

This transition follows the resignation of the current CFO, Marcin Urbaszek, who plans to join a global financial institution. The company noted that Urbaszek will remain with Granite Point until Johnson officially takes over in December.

Johnson, who brings nearly 20 years of financial experience, formerly served as Controller and is currently the Acting Chief Accounting Officer at Two Harbors Investment Corp.
