FX.co ★ Medtronic Appoints Thierry Pieton As CFO

Medtronic Plc (MDT), a leading healthcare technology firm, announced on Tuesday the appointment of Thierry Pieton as its Chief Financial Officer, effective March 3. Pieton transitions to Medtronic from Renault Group, where he has been fulfilling the role of CFO since March 2022.

During the interim period, Gary Corona, currently serving as the interim CFO, will maintain his role until Pieton's arrival at Medtronic. Subsequently, Corona will assume the position of Senior Vice President of Corporate Finance.

Previously, Medtronic had appointed Corona, who was then the Senior Vice President of Global Financial Planning and Analysis, as interim CFO following Karen Parkhill's decision to step down from her role as CFO.
