In May 2025, Sweden's construction industry saw a year-on-year increase of 0.3%, down from a 1.0% rise recorded in April. Despite this slowdown, it marked the third month in a row of growth for the sector, which contributed 9.1% to the entire private sector output. On a month-to-month basis, construction output experienced a seasonally adjusted decline of 0.9%, a more significant drop compared to the 0.3% decrease in April.
