In October 2025, the index assessing services sentiment within the Euro Area rose to 4.0, an increase from a revised 3.7 in September. This represents the highest figure in the past three months, surpassing market forecasts of 3.3. The rise was primarily driven by an uptick in overall demand over the last quarter, which improved from 2.5 in September to 3.9. Additionally, expectations for employment levels in the coming quarter were more optimistic, climbing to 1.1 from 0.3. Despite diminished confidence in demand condition forecasts, which fell from 10 to 8.7, the subindex held steady as the third highest of the year. Meanwhile, expectations for selling prices edged down slightly from 12.5 to 12.2.
