FX.co ★ Chile Retail Sales Continue to Rise

In September 2025, retail sales in Chile saw a robust year-on-year growth of 6.2%, marking the strongest increase since March. This follows a revised 5.2% gain recorded in August. The most significant boosts were observed in the sales of new light motor vehicles, which surged by 26.3%, electronic, household, and technology products, which rose by 9.3%, and miscellaneous consumer goods, which increased by 8.6%. On a month-to-month basis, retail sales experienced a 0.8% uptick, building on a 0.5% rise in August. Cumulatively, retail sales in Chile have grown by 5.2% for the year to date.
