Lithuania Producer Prices Decline at a Slower Pace

Producer prices in Lithuania fell by 2.8% year-on-year in February 2026, a smaller decline than the downwardly revised 3.7% drop recorded in January. Deflation in the manufacturing sector also eased (-3.7% vs. -4.4% in January), driven mainly by a slower price decrease in the manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products (-16% vs. -20.4%).

In contrast, prices rose more strongly in electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply (8.4% vs. 2.7%), as well as in water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation activities (4.8% vs. 3.4%). By comparison, production prices in mining and quarrying swung from growth to a sharp decline (-3.6% vs. 1%).

On a monthly basis, producer prices increased by 1.3% in February, following an upwardly revised 0.6% rise in the previous month.
