Greece Producer Inflation Slows in June

Producer prices in Greece rose 8.8% year-on-year in June 2026, slowing from a 13.5% increase in May. The deceleration was largely due to a marked easing in energy costs (15.5% vs. 26.4%) and weaker inflation for non-durable consumer goods (1.1% vs. 1.6%).

By contrast, price pressures intensified for intermediate goods (6.4% vs. 6.1%), capital goods (3.6% vs. 3.4%), and durable consumer goods (2.2% vs. 2.1%). On a monthly basis, producer prices fell 3% in June, after a 0.9% decline in May.
