French Producer Prices Drop 0.6% in June

French domestic producer prices fell by 0.6% month-on-month in June 2026, after a revised 0.2% decline in May. Prices for manufactured goods were down 0.6%, reversing the 0.1% increase recorded in the previous month, mainly reflecting a steeper drop in prices for coke and refined petroleum products (-12.0% vs. -7.3%).

Price growth also slowed in the manufacture of food products, beverages, and tobacco (0.1% vs. 0.2%), in electrical and electronic equipment, computers, and machinery (0.2% vs. 0.3%), and in other manufactured goods (0.2% vs. 0.9%), while prices for transport equipment were flat. Prices for mining and quarrying, energy, and water continued to decline, but at a more moderate pace (-0.7% vs. -1.0%).

On a yearly basis, domestic producer prices rose 2.6% in June, easing from a revised 3.1% increase in May.
