Serbia’s GDP Growth Accelerates to 3.6% in Q2 2026, Up from 3.2% YoY

Serbia’s economy strengthened in the second quarter of 2026, with gross domestic product (GDP) growth picking up to 3.60% year-over-year, according to data updated on 31 July 2026. This marks an acceleration from the 3.20% annual growth rate recorded in the first quarter of 2026.

The figures are based on year-over-year comparisons, meaning the current 3.60% reading reflects how much GDP grew in the second quarter of 2026 compared with the same period a year earlier. Likewise, the previous 3.20% reading shows growth in the first quarter of 2026 relative to the first quarter of the prior year.

The improvement suggests a modest but clear strengthening in Serbia’s economic momentum as 2026 progresses, with the second quarter outpacing the growth rate at the start of the year on a year-over-year basis.
