FX.co ★ Loonie Climbs After BoC Decision

As expected, the Bank of Canada has raised interest rate to 1.5 percent from 1 percent. The loonie advanced against its major rivals after the decision.

The loonie was trading at 102.72 against the yen, 1.2619 against the greenback, 0.9095 against the euro and 1.3490 against the aussie around 10:04 am ET.
