FX.co ★ Southwest Flight Attendants Approve New Collective Bargaining Agreement

Southwest Airlines Co. revealed that its Flight Attendants, who are represented by the Transport Workers Union Local 556, have voted in favor of a fresh collective bargaining agreement. This new accord not only includes salary increases, but it also integrates improved on-call scheduling for Southwest Airlines Flight Attendants. Moreover, it presents quality-of-life enhancements, such as company-funded maternity and parental leaves. The agreement, which applies to around 20,000 Southwest Flight Attendants, will be open for amendment in 2028.
