Siemens Healthineers (SMMNY.PK) announced on Wednesday that its third-quarter net income increased by 5% to €472 million, up from €451 million in the same period last year.
Basic earnings per share rose to €0.42 from €0.40 a year ago. Adjusted basic earnings per share, however, decreased slightly to €0.52 from €0.55 last year.
Adjusted EBIT saw a 9% increase, reaching €825 million, with the margin improving to 15.2% from the previous year's 14.6%.
Quarterly revenue grew by 4.3% to €5.42 billion from €5.20 billion in the prior year, with comparable revenues also up by the same percentage, despite ongoing order delays in China.
Looking ahead, the company reaffirmed its forecast for comparable revenue growth of between 4.5% and 6.5%, and adjusted basic earnings per share in the range of €2.10 to €2.30.
Excluding revenue from rapid COVID-19 antigen tests, Siemens Healthineers projects comparable revenue growth to be between 5.0% and 7.0%.
