In July 2025, Indonesia experienced a 9.86% year-on-year increase in exports, a deceleration from the 11.29% growth observed in June. This slowdown followed the momentum generated by the US-Indonesia trade agreement. The deal, finalized in July, resulted in Indonesia consenting to a reciprocal tariff rate of 19%, which is significantly lower than the initially proposed rate of 32%.
