In September 2025, the annual inflation rate in Belarus decreased slightly to 7.1%, down from 7.2% in August. This deceleration was primarily due to a slower rise in the cost of groceries, which increased by 9.8% compared to 9.9% previously, and non-food items, which saw a price rise of 2.9% as opposed to 3.2% earlier. These trends counterbalanced the quicker growth in service charges, which went up by 7.9%, compared to 7.7% in the prior month. For the month, consumer prices increased by 0.5% in September, recovering from a 0.3% decrease experienced in July.
