Retail sales in Russia observed a substantial increase of 4.8% in October 2025 compared to the same month the previous year. This performance notably improved from the 1.8% growth recorded in September and exceeded analysts' projections of a 2.3% uptick. October marked the highest retail activity growth since January. On a monthly comparison, retail sales ascended by 3.7% in October, effectively recovering from a 3.7% drop witnessed in September.
