Retail sales in Latvia experienced a 3.3% increase in November 2025 compared to the same month the previous year. This marks the sixth consecutive month of growth, although there is a noticeable deceleration from the 4.8% rise observed in October. The slowdown can be attributed primarily to a diminished growth rate in the sale of non-food products, which saw a rise of 4.4% compared to the 8.4% increase in October. In contrast, sales of food products showed an uptick of 0.8% from 0.1%, and automotive fuel sales accelerated to 4.6% from 3.7%. On a monthly basis, when adjusting for seasonal variations, retail sales grew by 0.3%, a decrease from the 1.2% increase seen in October.
