US Wholesale Inventory Growth Slows in October

In October 2025, U.S. wholesale inventories experienced a modest increase of 0.2%, reaching a total of $913.5 billion, a decline from the 0.5% growth observed in September. This aligns with market expectations. Specifically, inventories of non-durable goods grew by 0.8%, a slight deceleration compared to the 1.1% rise recorded in the previous month. Conversely, inventories of durable goods decreased by 0.2%, following a 0.1% uptick in the previous month. Annually, wholesale inventories saw a 1.7% increase in October.
