Lithuania's economy experienced a notable recovery in the final quarter of 2025, with a 1.7% increase from the previous quarter, where there had been a marginal decline of 0.1%, as suggested by preliminary data. This growth rate is the strongest since the third quarter of 2021, fueled predominantly by positive outcomes in the industrial sector, as well as in wholesale and retail trade, transportation, and storage services. Year-over-year, Lithuania's GDP rose by 3.1% in the fourth quarter of 2025, improving from a revised 1.9% in the prior quarter. Compared to 2024, the Real GDP, adjusted for seasonal and calendar variations, increased by 2.7%, and the unadjusted figure showed a rise of 2.8%.
