European Economic News Preview: Eurozone Economic Sentiment Data Due

Economic updates from the euro area and the Financial Stability Report from the UK headline Thursday's key financial news.

Scheduled for 3:00 AM ET, Spain's National Statistics Institute (INE) will release retail sales data for May. Concurrently, Sweden will publish its consumer and business sentiment survey results.

At 3:30 AM ET, Sweden's central bank will announce its monetary policy decision, with economists predicting the key rate will remain unchanged at 3.75 percent.

By 4:00 AM ET, the European Central Bank (ECB) will publish monetary aggregates for May, with the M3 money supply expected to increase at an annual rate of 1.5 percent, up from 1.3 percent in April. Italy will also release its consumer and business sentiment survey results at this time.

At 5:00 AM ET, the European Commission will report the euro area economic sentiment survey data for July. Analysts anticipate the economic confidence index will rise to 96.2 in June, slightly up from 96.0 in May.

Finally, at 5:30 AM ET, the Bank of England will release its Financial Stability Report.
