The Nordex Group has announced that it is broadening its local production capabilities. The company will produce nacelles for both the existing N163 turbine variant and a product designed specifically for the US market at its facility in West Branch, Iowa.

"Manufacturing nacelles in the US is a substantial advancement in expanding our local procurement and manufacturing footprint in North America, which is a critical component of our growth strategy for the region," stated Jose Luis Blanco, CEO of the Nordex Group.
